History of the Reformation in the Sixteenth Century, by J. H. Merle D'Aubigne, 1848
This book describes in great detail how the Reformation succeeded in the sixteenth century. The author, J.H. Merle D'Aubigne, describes the life of all the major players in the Reformation including Martin Luther, Phillip Melanchthon, Ulrich Zwingle, and John Calvin.
This book opened my eyes to how crucial the Reformation was to getting the Word of God back into the hands of the people and allow the Spirit to move in the world thru his chosen people.
Christianity would not be what it is today if it weren't for the Reformation.
